Judy Armstrong is a multi-award winning photojournalist and travel writer, specialising in sport and adventure travel. A New Zealander by birth, she now has bases in the French Alps, and in the North Yorkshire Moors national park in England.
She has travelled extensively by foot, kayak, horse, bike and skis throughout Europe, Africa, the Americas and Asia.
She is a member of the British Guild of Travel Writers (BGTW) and the Outdoor Writers and Photographers Guild (OWPG). Judy is a regular contributor to publications including France magazine, The Great Outoors, Outdoor Photography and Canoe & Kayak UK.
A journalist in Britain for 25 years (and before that, in New Zealand), Judy has won more than a dozen awards for her writing, on subjects as diverse as horse herding, cycle touring and long-distance trekking.
Judy's current focus is France - sport, culture, cities, travel, adventure holidays. She is also a prolific gear tester, principally for The Great Outdoors and Outdoor Photography magazines.
